In support of the Chronic Care Center
In March 2019, the Foundation renewed its support for the Chronic Care Center with a donation to the 8 "supported" children. This donation will also be used to finance Abdel Rahim's operation to defeat his thalassemia.
With 121 new cases of diabetes in 2013, 1,800 young diabetics registered at the center and treatment costs between $ 1,500 and $ 10,000, diabetes and thalassemia are diseases that cannot be ignored.
The Chronic Care Center works on prevention, information, moral and financial support for families and sick children. It is actively involved in research on these diseases.
The Ouidad Hachem Foundation takes over the operations or the Chronic Care Center children’s treatments. This year, Abdel Rahim will have his operation financed by the contribution of the Foundation.
