Donation renewed in 2017 to help the Karma Association in the treatment of children with serious illnesses and chronic diseases
Created in May 2015, The Association Karma in Lebanon raises funds for medical treatment and psycho-social assistance for disadvantaged children and adolescents. It is 100% run by volunteers and therefore all funds raised are used for the treatment of children.
Nanor, Khayreddine, Souheila and Hassan diagnosed by Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, have been supported by the Ouidad Hachem Foundation since 2016.
In 2017 and through UNHCR, Khayreddine and Souheila were able to go to Europe with their families to continue their treatment.
It was a great joy to hear that Nanor finished her treatments in the summer of 2017 and the tests showed that she was cured.
Hassan is always supported in Lebanon and responds well to treatments.
